Base Managers Marie Helene Pegurie welcomes you to Montauban, our brand new base custom built for 2008.
Montauban on the right bank of the Tarn is one of the most ancient of southwest France's towns. With the exception of Mont de Marsan, Montauban is the oldest of the bastides of southern France.
This pink-brick capital of the Tarn-et-Garonne département is the city of the painter Ingres and the sculptor Bourdelle. The “Pont Vieux” offers an unique panorama of the left bank, lined with private drapers mansions who enriched themselves during the 18th century. The town is generally regarded as the first bastide, the model for those rationally laid-out medieval new towns, and that plan is still clearly evident in the beautiful town centre.

Please note that if you have pre-booked an Early Check-In, then the base will be open for your arrival.
