Fontenoy le Chateau Base
Welcome to Fontenoy le Château. Fontenoy- le-Chateau is a small market town, divided by the River Coney, with bags of character. It used to be a large town during the Middle Ages, but has since shrunk. The atmosphere though has remained the same and walking around the town’s cobbled streets is a very pleasant experience indeed..
PRE-ORDER YOUR GROCERIES
Take advantage of our online grocery ordering service which allows you to order a selection of basic provisions for your first few nights on board. This is especially useful if you are not driving to your base, or know you will be arriving after the supermarkets have closed. Simply download a provisioning list here, send it to the base and they will do your shopping for you! The cost of your groceries is payable in local currency when you arrive.
PRE-ARRANGE YOUR TAXI TRANSFER
Le Boat will be happy to arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base. Please download a taxi transfer form here and send it to the base at least 14 days prior to departure. The base receptionist will contact you directly to confirm details of your transfer.
BASE OPENING HOURS
Monday - Saturday: 08:30 - 12:30 14:00 - 18:00
Sunday: Closed
Please note that if you have pre-booked an Early Check-In, then the base will be open for your arrival.
LATE ARRIVALS
If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to inform the base directly or the general sales office where you booked. When you arrive at the base there will be a note on the reception door informing you where your boat is. The boat will be left open with the lights on for you to stay on board that night. The base staff will do the full briefing the following morning.HOTELS
