St Jean de Losne Base

Base manager Nicole Gilles welcomes you to St. Jean de Losne. St Jean De Losne is a small town located on the junction of several different waterways. It is still a large business center for barges but it is also one of the largest pleasure boat marinas in Europe. From St Jean De Losne, you are only 20kms from the vineyards with famous names such as Gevrey Chambertin or Clos Vougeot.

PRE-ORDER YOUR GROCERIES

Take advantage of our online grocery ordering service which allows you to order a selection of basic provisions for your first few nights on board. This is especially useful if you are not driving to your base, or know you will be arriving after the supermarkets have closed. Simply download a provisioning list here, send it to the base and they will do your shopping for you! The cost of your groceries is payable in local currency when you arrive.

PRE-ARRANGE YOUR TAXI TRANSFER

Le Boat will be happy to arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base. Please download a taxi transfer form here and send it to the base at least 14 days prior to departure. The base receptionist will contact you directly to confirm details of your transfer.

BASE FACILITIES

Our base offers toilets and showers. Open-air parking is available free of charge. Enclosed compound parking charge is 30 Euro per week.

OPENING HOURS

8.30am to 12.30pm and 14.00 to 18.00 The base is closed on Sunday.

Please note that if you have pre-booked an Early Check-In, then the base will be open for your arrival.

If you are taking a one-way cruise there is the possibility of car transfer from the departure base to the arrival base at a cost of 250 Euro.

The boats are available between 4 pm and 6 pm. If you are going to arrive late, please advise us by phone.

You will find all shops and services at Saint-Jean-de-Losne. The banks are closed on Monday. Market day is on Sunday morning.

Fishing licences and fishing equipment are available at the garden centre in Losne.
