Why do we recommend stopping here?

Guenrouët is a very nice and peaceful stop. The open-air leisure centre has something for everyone : an open-air pool with slide, swirpool, grassed areas, pedalos, canoes and kayaks (CLUB ISAC Tel: 02 40 87 64 23), picnic areas, a mini-golf course which is set on the theme of the local canal. The village and shops are just 200 metres away.

What is there to see?

Have a lovely time in a very pleasant natural setting !

What can I visit?

The pretty church of Saint Hermeland in the village, with its very attractive windows. Open from 9am to 8pm.

yes next to the quay, pontoon - an outdoor swimming pool.

Is there a tourist office?

yes in June from 2.30pm-7pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Every day from July to September 10.30am-1pm and 2.30pm-7pm

The nearest is at Missillac (approx 18kms)

Are there any other recommended activities?

Many others activities : walking (guide of local hikings at the tourist information centre), archery, fishing, tennis(just next to the campside, ask the reception)…mini-golf (Open in May on Sundays and Banks holidays 3pm-7pm and June to September everyday 4pm-midnight // Library open Wednesdays 2.30pm-3.30pm and Sundays 10.30am-12

Is there anything else worth mentioning?

Each Wednesday during the summer, walks 6/7 kms are organised and tasting of crêpes, cider at the end // Middle June : Fest of the Canal // fishing show one day in July and in August // 13th July : national fest = firework and bal.

Opening Hours: Open during the week 8.30am-12.30pm and 3pm-7pm and Sundays 9am-12.30pm. Closed on Wednesdays and Sundays afternoon from September to June and closed on Wednesdays afternoon and Sundays afternoon in July and August.

Supermarket

At the campsite SAINT CLAIR : a shop, bread, ice, drinks and icecreams.
100 metres from the port - Tel: 02 40 87 61 52 (on the border of the Nantes Brest Canal). Open from April to end of September.

What other shops are there??

Bakery, butcher, newspaper shop, flowers, petrol station (6kms - Notre Dame de Grâce-closed on wednesdays) Local products : A stall sells fish and seafood on Saturday from 5.30pm-7.30pm at Place de l'Eglise. Pizzas GIACOMO : on Friday from 4pm at Place de l'Eglise and at the campsite on Wednesdays from 4pm. Fismonger LEPAROUX : Tuesdays and Thursdays morning at Place de l'Eglise. CIDER KERISAC (the firm is not open to the puiblic but they have a shop where you can buy cider, apple juice… ) From May Monday to Friday, open 9am-12/2pm-6pm and 9am-12 on Saturdays there are various craftmen in the village : ceramic artist, leather artist
