Why do we recommend stopping here?

This is a pleasant stop, equipped with a picnic area. You can also rent canoes at the base approx 1.5 kms from the village.

What can I visit?

All whose have a passion for canal locks must not miss a visit to the "Maison du Canal", a video gives credit to the enormous challenge which was the construction of the Nantes Brest Canal, lasting for 30 years under difficult conditions. Animated reduced models of locks and their water-distribution systems explain how they function in simple terms. Open in May/June/September on Sundays from 2.30pm to 6.30pm - July and August 10am-12 /2.30pm-7pm.
