Ouzouer-sur-trezee

Rogny-les-sept-ecluses

A place of tourist interest with guided tours. Possibility of tastings of local produce in the port (notably snails). Several restaurants and shops.

Montargis

Montargis is the second largest city in the Loiret, after Orléans and is often known as the " Venise du Gatinais " due to the numerous canals which criss-cross the town. Many of the houses overlooking the canals are prettily decorated with flower boxes on their balconies. There are many famous restaurants here and lots of gourmet specialities (“Praslines, Gâtinais Honey, the Dog of Montargis’ Dung, Roseaux du Loing, Pavés Montargois”).
