Return Trip: Casale, via Venice
Allow 3 to 5 nights
Historic sightseeing from your sundeck presents Venice in all its glory, and not far away are the Venetian islands.
Please note: the Venetian Lagoon can be busy, so some previous boating experience is recommended.
Reviews for the The Little Venice Short Break
Although it was a new boat, it was not really fit for purpose in the choppy waters of Venice lagoon. The drawers all slid open (no locks) and 3 glasses were broken on the 2nd day. Also not mosquito proof! Severe lack of moorings around the area.
Terrible customer service. One cabin was flea infested, one bike had a flat tire upon first use. They provide only an argument that a questioner was not filled out upon the boat return. There was no one there that spoke English upon our return and no questioner was given. I won't even go on. Also these boats only go about 5 knots, like watching grass grow.
Paid for early departure, the boat was not ready. No one there that spoke English for a Sunday boat return.
Comment fromThe Le Boat Team
Hi Charles, thank you for your feedback. Our customer relations team is already aware of this issue and has reached out to you to resolve this matter.
Everything was as promised; check-in was a little confused with only one agent at the desk. Maps provided need updates to indicate marinas with more detailed information; information was of a very general nature.
The boat was clean and well-equipped and maintained. Training before the cruise was very conscientious. The reception area could have been better equipped.I've already been on several Le Boat holidays.
You definitely need boating experience. It was quite hard at times. And isn't ideal for small children. That said, the rivers and canals were beautiful and it was unique once in a lifetime experience. Italy and Venice in particular are amazing.
We travelled through many beautiful areas, Treviso down to Venice and everywhere in between. There are some amazing towns and places to stop.
