Also excludes Italy. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before entering the competition. By entering you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by them.

Terms and conditions

1. Promoter’s Details: Crown Travel Limited (the “Promoter”), a member of Travelopia companies, registered in England and Wales under number 02095375 and whose registered office is at Origin One, 108 High St, Crawley, RH10 1BD, UK. You acknowledge that, depending on where you live, you may provide your details to an affiliate of the Promoter (see clause 4 and the applicable policies when you enter) and your booking may be delivered by an affiliate of the Promoter (see clause 7(g)) and the applicable terms and conditions when you make a booking

2. Eligibility: This competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. It is open to anyone who is a legal resident in the UK, the Channel Islands, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada (except Quebec) and United States of America (excluding New York and District of Colombia), who is eighteen (18) years of age (or twenty one (21) in the USA) or older. Employees and immediate family (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) of the Promoter or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible to enter this competition.

3. How to Enter:

a. To enter you will need to complete our online form above between May 10, 2023 and July 31, 2023. Details that will need to be provided are your name, a valid email address and country of residence to the Promoter. You are also required to upload at least one photo taken on your current Le Boat vacation.

b. There is no restriction on the number of entries per person. No purchase necessary. No entries from agents or third parties. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

c. The Promoter reserves the right (in its absolute discretion) to reject entries and disqualify entrants, including without limitation where the Promoter has cause to believe that (i) there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or (ii) the entrant has interfered with the fair running of this Competition, including without limitation by manipulating entries or the results, or has provided false information or has acted unethically in any other way.

4. Use of Data and images: All details provided by you will be held by the Promoter and used in accordance with these terms and conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available here. By submitting your photo(s) to Le Boat, you agree that Le Boat will use them in connection with your first name and the first letter of your last name for marketing purposes, e.g. on social media, websites, email, brochures, etc. The image rights of the submitted image/s remain with you and you grant Le Boat only a right of use.

5. Dates: The competition commences on May 10, 2023 and entries close on July 31, 2023. All entries must be received by July 31, 2023 before 23.30 (GMT) to be valid and entered into the competition for a final round of public voting (see section 8 below).

6. Receipt of Entries: The Promoter will not accept: (a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or (b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

7. Prize(s):

a. The prize on offer is one (1) x vacation of up to three (3) nights for up to six (6) people in any Le Boat cruising region, excluding Italy. The prize may be taken on any category of 2-cabin boat in the Le Boat fleet, excluding Premier boats (except in Canada where our Premier boats are included), subject to availability at the time of booking.

b. The prize includes:

c. For the avoidance of doubt, the winner is solely responsible for all additional costs and expenses associated with the prize not expressly stated herein as included. This includes, but is not limited to, engine hours charge (which covers fuel, gas and engine wear & tear and is payable locally at the end of your vacation), travel to and from your departure base, food, drink, spending money, waterside services such as moorings, pump out and any other costs. In addition you are responsible for placing a security deposit (which may be reduced by purchasing optional CDW) and a pre-authorisation of a refundable security deposit is required at the base on arrival, in local currency.

d. Should you book a one-way cruise (if available) then you are liable for the applicable one-way supplement at the time of making your booking. 

e. Any booking of the prize must be made at least 8 weeks before the intended departure date and for all European destinations, it must be made for a departure date in October 2023. If you chose to take your short break in Canada, it must be taken between October 1 - October 8, 2023 or May 19 - May 24, 2024. 

f. Once made, and without prejudice to the booking conditions, your booking may not be amended or altered in any way whatsoever once your booking is confirmed.

g. It is the winner’s responsibility to check all details of their booking and ensure all visa and passport requirements are fulfilled and to arrange their own travel insurance. h. The prize is not transferable and no alternative will be offered. There is no cash alternative or exchange and no cash compensation in the event that any element of your booking is not available or withdrawn and an alternative will be offered. No compensation will be payable by the Promoter if the winner is unable to use their prize as stated. 

i. The prize cannot be awarded to any person who, for any reason, would not be allowed by law to purchase or use the prize.

8. Selection of winners: Le Boat will choose at their own discretion which photos to display on their website where they'll enter a round of public voting. Not all photos entered will be chosen. Le Boat will invite customers, social followers and website visitors to vote which photo they like the best. The photo which receives the most votes will be declared the winner. Voting will commence as soon as the first photo is chosen and uploaded and will close at midday on August 15, 2023

9. Notification: The winner will be notified by email on or before August 22, 2023 with instructions on how to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or is unable to accept their prize within 30 days of being contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to choose another winner from eligible entries received.

10. Winner(s) details: Details of the winner, name and country of residence, will be obtainable after the August 22, 2023 by writing to the Promoter at its registered address. The winner may be required to participate in post-competition publicity.

11. General: 

a. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition in exceptional circumstances. All entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the Promoter reserves the right to exclude entrants for any breach of these terms and conditions. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.

b. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

c. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

d. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

12. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the Promoter and the entrant hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
