About Salsa B

The Salsa B is ideal for parties up to 12, two more than the Salsa A because of an additional settee that converts to a double in the saloon. Cabin fans, a radio/CD player with MP3/USB connectivity, a lounge deck in the bow, and a second steering station on the sundeck make Salsa boats for hire very popular!

Jump aboard and take a look around with our virtual tour...

Please note that the following virtual tour is of the "Salsa A" boat rather than the "Salsa B" however the only difference is that the Salsa B has an additional couch/bed in the saloon area.

Very good and friendly staff Berth configuration that we wanted could not be achieved in the boat we booked despite being led to believe that it could be. Even discussed in the pre-holiday call (which was very nice to get 10 days or so before the holiday). Staff could not have been nicer. Easy check out as we had to leave early in the morning. One big disappointment was the cost of the diesel which seemed to include a (stealth) margin for Le Boat and not to be simply the cost of the diesel. If running hours/engine wear and tear is a function of the engine run time, then I suggest that the average for the fleet is simply used, is part of the booking price, and then diesel is simply charged from the amount topped up at the base when the boat is returned. The is the only issue I have as it was a big cost at the end of the trip. Great holiday. Lots to see and do. Lovely little towns and cafes along the way and reasonably priced No hassle and easy going fun

Service on arriving was great, no problems when underway and drop off at the end was easy and quick. Rhine river was absolutely beautiful, starting with the Lift after leaving Hesse early in the morning in the mist, through two tunnels and then through approx 45 locks to Boofhziem. Boat was very comfortable.

This is our 5th boating trip with Le Boat. We tell all our friends about Le Boat. We find there service very good. The Salsa B was a great boat, especially since there were only 4 adults, so it was great to spread out. Having 2 small fridges made a big difference. Fans in all the rooms were a great help due to the heat.

Staff were very friendly and any boat problems were sorted out by a visit from the engineer very quickly. No complaints about the boat - it had an eccentric charging system which we coped with. Staff discounted our engine hours to account for the inconvenience. 6 adults on the boat gave us lots of room. One comment we would make is that the toilets and showers at castelnaudary are very smelly! Not nice. Comfortable boat - very roomy for 6 adults. Easily fit 8 adults/people. Space in cabin for two more to sleep if needed.Cabin area and kitchen is very good and we cooked on board 7 nights out of 10. 2 fridges and gas stove made cooking easy. We also had the BBQ on deck and that was a good hire.

Service was great from the time we got the boat till we dropped it off. Had a couple of small mechanical issues but they were dealt with right away. The service. The boat. The route. We had sunshine every day and we had rain every day. It doesn't get any better than you make it and we had a great time.
