What was your favourite boating moment so far?: My wife and I had our first cruise right on the midi canal about 20 years ago and cruising again with our 11 year old daughter was certainly very exciting and fun. We found beautiful places and perhaps better appreciated the life of the small villages located on the canal.

We all know that boating is memorably different! And we would love to hear about your favourite boating memory on your most recent Le Boat vacation – to share what you loved most about the trip and why you’d recommend it! What’s more you could be selected as our ‘Captain’s story of the Month’ and feature on our Captains’ Club page to share your boating highlights with our boating community.
Share your boating stories:
- You are automatically enrolled in the Captains’ Club once you have provided us with your email address and your consent to receive marketing from Le Boat. This will entitle you to the stated discounts and benefits, if you have previously completed at least one (1) holiday with Le Boat. Your booking must have been made direct with Emerald Star (either via the website or direct with our sales team). Any bookings which are made by our agent partners or any other third parties will render you ineligible for the Captains’ Club in respect of that individual booking.
- If you are a participant in Le Boat’s Ownership Program, or otherwise have a stake in any of the boats which are in the fleet of the Ownership Program which is run by Emerald Star, you shall not be eligible for membership of the Captains’ Club or any of the benefits offered by the Captains’ Club.
- Membership of the Captains’ Club will result in you being provided with one (1) unique discount code to be used on any future bookings which are made directly with Le Boat. The discount code may not be used for any bookings which are made with our agent partners or any third parties. The discount code may not be used retrospectively for any bookings which have already been made.
- The discount code which is provided by virtue of your membership of the Captain’s Club shall be valid for five (5) years from the day after you return from your eligible booking which renders you a member of the Captain’s Club.
- The amount of your discount will be subject to the total number of nights of your booking. For bookings which are for seven (7) nights or more, you will be provided with a total discount of €100 off of your booking. If your booking is for 3 to 6 nights, you will be provided with a total discount of €50 off of your booking.
- The discount code may be used for a booking to any destination (excluding Italy), on any boat in our fleet and for any departure date. The discount code may be combined with any other applicable offer, except for any last-minute one-way special offers provided by Emerald Star from time-to-time.
- You must not share or grant anybody else use of your discount code which is unique and personal to you.
- Any booking which is made using your discount code shall not affect any of your rights and obligations under Le Boat’s booking conditions which shall remain applicable to your booking. See our terms and conditions for further information.
- Your personal data which is provided to Emerald Star will be processed in accordance with Le Boat’s privacy policy. You have the right to opt-out and unsubscribe from the Captains’ Club and any marketing at any time.
- By providing us with any images, text, photographs, videos, or any other materials (“Materials”) as part of the Captain’s story of the month, you grant Emerald Star with an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence throughout the world to use, adapt, copy, reproduce, modify and exploit the Materials and any intellectual property rights which exist in the Materials any promotional, marketing or advertising materials of Le Boat. By providing us with the Materials you agree that you are the owner of the copyright and other intellectual property rights which exist in the Materials and that your grant of the licence under this clause 9 does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights.
- All discounts and other benefits which are offered by virtue of membership of the Captains’ Club are provided at the sole discretion of Le Boat. Emerald Star therefore has the right to amend, alter, change or otherwise suspend any benefits or offers at any time, in whole or in part, without notice. Any suspension, alteration, change or other cessation of any benefits will not affect any bookings which have been made using any discounts.
- The referrer (person referring the new customer) must have travelled with Emerald Star prior to the new customer’s booking being made.
- The referee (person being referred) must never have booked, or travelled on, an Emerald Star trip previously.
- The referee will be given €100 off their first Emerald Star trip when they provide the name (that matches the one held by Le Boat) of a friend who has previously travelled with Emerald Star before the booking has been confirmed. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively if not mentioned at the time of booking.
- If there is more than one person on a new booking then the discount can be applied only to those customers who have not travelled with Emerald Star before.
- The referrer will be entitled to €100 of credit towards their next Emerald Star adventure immediately upon confirmation of the new customer’s booking. The credit may be applied to an existing booking that has yet to depart or a future booking.
- The referrer may refer multiple new customers, and will be credited €100 for each one. Emerald Star may limit the number of referees any particular customer refers if it sees fit.
- “Refer a Friend” discounts may not be used in conjunction with any other discount except a Captains Club loyalty discount (for the referrer).
- “Refer a Friend” The discount is not available to bookings made through travel agents.
- “Refer a Friend” credits on the referrer’s account must be applied to a booking (with the deposit paid) within 18 months of receiving them, or they will expire.
- Emerald Star may change the rules or mechanism of the “Refer a Friend” programme at any time, but all credits received whilst the system is in place will be honoured until they expire as above.
